Coach Tour to Kings Park/Yanchep Christmas Luncheon
Christmas Luncheon $60.00 per person – Wednesday 6th July 2022 (9:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Departing from the IGA car park in Halls Head at 9.00 am the coach travels to Kings Park where we alight for an hour to enjoy the breathtaking view, wander around the gardens or perhaps meander thru Aspects Gallery admiring the many gifts of art, jewellery, books, homewares etc before partaking of a coffee.
We then travel on to Yanchep National Park for a Christmas in July luncheon at the old heritage listed Yanchep Inn built-in 1936. Sit back and savour a delicious meal of sliced roast turkey and glazed ham with cranberry jus, roast potatoes and vegetables followed by plum pudding with custard and cream …. yum!
Two tours have been booked but as there is only 30 permitted on each tour it’s a case of ‘first in‘ will get their choice of tour!
Enjoy an entertaining and informative 45-minute session that will immerse you in local Noongar culture. Learn about the world’s oldest living culture, experience didgeridoo playing and find out about the cultural significance of plants and animals.
See Perth’s only tourist cave on a 45 minute guided tour and experience an underground wonderland full of natural cave decorations such as stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, columns and shawls throughout this stream cave.
Following the tours, we will depart and travel back to Mandurah arriving back at approximately 5.00 pm.

COACH TOUR TO ARALUEN BOTANIC PARK (pending cost confirmation)
COACH TOUR TO ARALUEN BOTANIC PARK – 7TH SEPTEMBER
Departing from IGA Xpress Halls Head at 9.00 am we travel to Jarrahdale where we stop for a Devonshire tea at Cafe on the Dam situated high up on the scarp overlooking the Serpentine Dam. Relax and admire the view or go for a walk to look at the dam before we move off to the Naked Apple Cider House for lunch. Set on 6.4 hectares of lush gardens and native bushland.
Following lunch, we will depart for Araluen Botanic Park with 14 hectares of gardens, waterfalls and beautiful tulips. There are over 150,000 tulips and 36,000 spring blooms consisting of camellias, azaleas, grand magnolia trees etc Meander around the park admiring all the magnificent gardens or maybe jump on the train and go for a trip up to the top of the park.
We depart at 3.45 pm to head home after an enjoyable day.

The Port Mandurah Residents Association Christmas Dinner and Dance
Mandurah Country Club, 16 Marsh Place, Halls Head Saturday 26th November at 6.30 pm.
The cost is yet to be determined but includes a welcome drink upon arrival, and a three-course meal consisting of an entree with four delicious morsels and two choices of main and dessert. Special diets can be catered for if advised in advance.
Rewind2 Play will have everyone up and dancing the night away. Tables of 8 to 10 plus door prizes. This function is for Port Mandurah residents over 18 and their guests.
